Fishy McFish wants to go home with you* |
I am offering one of my felt goldfish decorations to be won. Note: I handmade this fish BUT it is not from my own pattern. The pattern is by Lisa Jordan and I got the pattern from Fa La La La Felt edited by Amanda Carestio.
The Details:
The fish measures approximately 7 cm x 3cm. The string is 11cm long. He is decorated on both sides and is stuffed. He is made of felt.
This giveaway is open internationally. I will send Fishy McFish anywhere in the world to you.
This giveaway is open until the 25th of May. Make sure you leave a way for me to contact you to let you know that you've won. If you win you have 24 hours to respond with an address before I pick a new winner.
How to Win:
This one is slightly different. To enter this giveaway I want you to EITHER leave a comment telling me IF YOU WERE A FISH WHICH WOULD YOU BE? AND WHY?
OR flick through my previous posts and leave a comment here telling me which of my projects you like the most.
I will pick the best answer. My decision is final.

Good Luck!

hmmm...can a dolphin count? Cause they are beautiful, intelligent, graceful, and do awesome flips! although, they get caught in tuna nets, so maybe not...I guess I'd like to be a minnow. No one really eats them so I wouldn't be hunted too much, and I'd get to swim up and down beautiful creeks surrounded by fantastic woods. That'd be pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteMy niece loves fish, She just turned two---this would be a belated gift for her.
ReplyDeleteMy fish is a humuhumuukunakuapua'a---Hawaiis state fish. What a mouthfull! Almost as wordy as I am :) I was bitten by one once! ouch !
If I were a fish, I'd be a puffer fish so when my work "team" members are being all passive-aggressive and expecting me to do their work for them, I could just fill my gut with air (our offices are not underwater) and get all huge and not need to say anything because they'd known I'm deadly poisonous and they'd meekly back their weasel-y behinds out of my office and go do their own freaking work!

I'd be a goldfish. Nothing special but still makes people smile. :)

ReplyDeleteIf I were a fish I would be a Rockfish, because they taste so nice!
ReplyDeleteI would be the sailfish because they are the fastest fish that exists going as fast as 68mph. It is said they go as fast as cheetahs run on land. I ~love~ the ocean and would love to see it ALL swimming through like that...with time to pause and enjoy too.
ReplyDeleteOne of my friends used to call me goldfish as I have gold hair and big eyes - apparently so I guess I would have to be a goldfish.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I'd be a shark! Mostly cuz I'm scared of sharks so if I were a shark, I wouldn't have to worry when I go swimming :D
ReplyDeleteI would want to be a shark (not really a fish I suppose) that way others would fear me instead of the other way around.

What an adorable fish! If I were a fish, I'd want to be one of those super deep sea anglerfish with the little bait light that hangs in front to lure in dinner.
ReplyDeleteIf I were a fish I would be "Fishy McFish" because he is so cute and he is going to travel somewhere and make someone who wins him (me I hope) very happy! What more could a fish aspire to?!

Thanks for the chance to win! Have a great day.
I would be a shark, because they never sleep, and I never seem to get to either!
ReplyDeletebeth(dot)sebastian(at)gmail(dot)com
I'd be my pet goldfish--because someone else cleans his room, feeds him four times a day, and gives him a nice sunny spot with pretty plants to see...its a good life.
ReplyDeleteA sailfish. Have you seen those things? Awesome!
ReplyDeleteA clown fish? I loved Finding Nemo...don't judge.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but I've always been drawn to those flat fish that camouflage to the dirt. I had to look up the name, I guess they're called Flounder Fish. They're just so perfectly odd. They're face always makes me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI think i would be a Japanese Fighting Fish... they are beautiful and like to be alone!
ReplyDeletexo steph

i'd want to be a dolphin! i hope he counts as a fish!
ReplyDeletenicmowat AT gmail DOT com
Haha, brilliant question! I'd be a rainbow trout, simply because I love the idea of a fish looking like a rainbow. (Not that rainbow trout look like rainbows, but oh well.)
ReplyDeletemacska at gmail dot com
I'd be a puffer fish...cause it's funny : )
ReplyDeletelol, I'd be a feeder fish. Ya know, like a goldfish, but not a fancy kind, the kind that can actually swim, and instead of being bought to be fed to a reptile, I'd be bought by the kind of kid I was when I was young, that would buy it for .25 cents, or be won at a fair, and then keep it in a huge aquarium and would live longer than any fancy kind of fish out there.
ReplyDeleteCompetition is now closed Folks. Results out soon. Thanks for entering!
ReplyDeleteThe winner is qltmom9 - for mentioning a fish I'd never heard of (interesting). I really loved all of these answers though. It was a tough decision.
